After two developer preview builds, Google releases first public beta of Android 15. If you have been waiting to try Android 15, now’s your chance because the public build is better than developer preview in terms of stability. Be aware that there can still be some bugs as this is a beta build. With many Android users eager to test Android 15, here’s a guide on how to install the Android 15 Beta on Pixel phones.

Android 15 is not as significant an update as Android 14, but it is still a major Android update and is expected to bring a bunch of new features and changes. With every DP and Beta build, Google adds few new features to Android 15.

The Android 15 roadmap is similar to previous major Android OS updates. It consists of two developer previews followed by four public beta updates. So there will be at least one update every month.

As for supported devices, Google has made some changes. The Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, and Pixel 5a will no longer receive major Android updates. This means that only Tensor-powered phones will get the Android 15 update. Here is the list of Pixel phones eligible for the Android 15 update.

  • Pixel 6
  • Pixel 6 Pro
  • Pixel 6a
  • Pixel 7
  • Pixel 7 Pro
  • Pixel 7a
  • Pixel 8
  • Pixel 8 Pro
  • Pixel Fold
  • Pixel Tablet

  • Download Factory Image for your Pixel Phone (For 3rd Method)
  • Bootloader must be unlocked (Steps in third method)
  • Install Android USB Driver on your PC (Link)

  • Install Android 15 beta at your own risk
