How to Install iOS 18 Developer Beta
Apple removed beta profiles before the iOS 17, and since then testing new beta builds have been quite easy. This means you can also install iOS 18 on your eligible iPhone easily. Before jumping to the steps, don’t forget to take backup of your iPhone. And ensure there is enough space to install update, about 15GB or more.
Opt for the Developer Program
This step is only required if you haven’t opted for the developer beta updates with your account earlier. If you already used your Apple ID before to get developer beta (iOS 17 or older), you can jump to the next step.
You need to use the same Apple account on your iPhone to opt for developer beta. Go to the developer link mentioned below.
Now go to Account and Sign-In with your Apple ID. Agree to the developer terms and you are good to go. Now move to the next step.
Download and Install iOS 18 Beta 1
If you have enrolled for iOS beta today or for previous iOS updates, you can follow the steps below to get the update on your iPhone.
- First connect your iPhone to WiFi or make sure it has internet data.
- Open Settings and navigate to General > Software Update.
- Here you will see Beta Updates tab, tap on it. If it’s not available then you may have not enrolled for the beta program.
- In Beta Updates, select iOS 18 Developer Beta.
- Now go back and the iOS 18 will pop-up immediately.
- Tap on Update Now or later based on your requirement.
